Founder
Mr. Joon Ho Song majored in Religious Studies at the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom for his graduate studies. In 2001, through an NGO, he operated a study center for teenagers in Bangalore, India, as well as a coffee house that provided motivation and career mentoring for young adults. He is currently teaching Korean and Mathematics for the 8th grade at the Korean School in Gurgaon, where he has served for eight years. He is deeply interested in education, personal growth, and sociocultural development, and is committed to creating high-quality educational environments and culture.
Principal
Dr. Hyang Kwon is a renowned educator with expertise in early childhood education. She majored in early childhood education at Bucheon University and Korea National Open University in Korea. And then she pursued her Master’s and Ph.D in Counselling in Education from the Univeristy of Bristol, United Kingdom University of Bristol, Bristol United Kingdom. Her academic and teaching experience not only provides children with quality and practical education but also empowers parents to educate their children wisely through parent education programs.She has been teaching since 1993 and has held roles as a teacher at Saebit Kindergarten(South Korea), Yedam Kindergarten (Malaysia), Redland Preschool (United Kingdom) and Light House Kindergarten (India, Bangalore) as School principal and Head Teacher and now at Stump Edu – Play (India, Gurugram).
Facilitator & Class Teacher
Ms. Ajabani Patton has been serving as a facilitator at Stump Edu–Play since July 2025. She is a well-balanced and dedicated educator with a strong passion for early childhood development and excels in creating joyful and safe learning environments through music, storytelling, and hands-on play. With over ten years of piano experience, she brings creativity and warmth to her teaching. She also spent three years teaching young children as a home tutor and piano instructor. Ms. Patton holds an English Honours degree from Patkai Christian College and is committed to supporting each child’s emotional, social, and academic growth.
Ms. Pooja Christina has been working as an enthusiastic and committed teacher at Stump Edu–Play since June 2024. She completed the Preschool Teacher Training & Certification (Basic Course) at KLAY and is currently pursuing the NTT Advanced Course at Stump Edu–Play. She is also studying English Honours at IGNOU. She has completed the Family Counselling Ministry (FCM) program at the University of the Nations in Pune (2023–2024). Talented in many areas, she is especially gifted in storytelling and arts and crafts, bringing creativity and inspiration into the classroom.
Part Time Teacher: Psychologist
Ms. Rebecca Daman is a Child Behavior Therapist by profession. She is serving Stump Edu – Play as a part time teacher. She has worked extensively with kids in different domains since 2019. She enjoys working with children and her passion lies in training and nurturing the young minds of today.
